Detecting The End of a Trend

So you’re in a stock and you have a target in mind, but it’s been on a real tear.  Is there a way to determine if the winds are going to shift?  Any number of factors can affect your trade.  A peer company releases poor earnings and everyone in that sector sells off, management changes, analysts downgrades, the list goes on.  But there is one way you MIGHT be able to see a shift coming using Accumulation/Distribution and On Balance Volume.

While not widely used due to the vast # of indicators out there, these tried-but-true studies have saved me on more than one occasion by getting me out of a trade and stopping me from getting into one that would fail.
